The Italian Ingredients in Our Pizzas
At Ditaly, we know exactly how to prepare an authentic Neapolitan pizza. That’s why we only use 100% Italian products as ingredients for our pizzas. Cheese, tomatoes, cured meats… All of them are imported directly from Italy so you can enjoy every bite.
San Marzano D.O.P. Tomato
Near Naples lies San Marzano, a small town at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, where this particular variety of tomato is grown. The volcanic soil of its slopes makes this the perfect place for its cultivation. San Marzano tomatoes are characterized by their slightly elongated shape and intense red color. Their sweet yet strong flavor makes them the king of Italian sauces.
Grana Padano D.O.P.
The name of this cheese comes from the term grana, which refers to its characteristic grainy texture, and Padano, which refers to a geographical region in northern Italy known as the Po Valley (Pianura Padana). This origin, combined with the high-quality production process, makes Grana Padano an Italian cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) status in Europe and Denominazione di Origine Controllata in Italy.
‘Nduja
‘Nduja is a cured meat made from pork and various spices. Its main characteristic is its high level of spiciness, as it is seasoned primarily with paprika. This traditional Italian cured meat originates from the town of Spilinga, located in the Calabria region.
Salame Napoli Dolce
This delicacy is made with a carefully selected variety of Italian ingredients, which are subtly spiced and cured for a rich and flavorful experience. Salame dolce is the signature salami of the Campania region, located in southwestern Italy.
Mortadella Bolognia I.G.P.
As its name and I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) certification indicate, this cured meat comes from the Bologna region. Mortadella Bologna is made exclusively from pork and is seasoned with salt, pepper, and spices that give it its signature aromatic and slightly spicy flavor.
Coppa Piacentina D.O.P.
Coppa Piacentina is one of the traditional delicacies of Piacenza, holding D.O.P. (Protected Designation of Origin) certification. It is a salami made from the pork shoulder or cured pork neck, two cuts known for their excellent quality. This salami is also known as capicola or capocollo.
Speck Trentino
Despite its ancient Germanic origins, this cured meat has become a typical product of the Italian city of Trentino, earning I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) recognition. Speck Trentino is made from high-quality pork leg cuts, which are seasoned with salt and spices and then smoked over aromatic wood, enhancing its distinct flavor and color.
Spianata Picante
Spianata Piccante is a spicy salami typical of the Calabria region in Italy. This type of salami is easily recognizable by its traditionally flat shape. It is made from pork meat, to which black pepper and spicy peperoncino are added, giving it its unique and characteristic spicy flavor.
